Stefan Merki

Stefan Merki was born in Switzerland and studied drama at Berlin University of the Arts. He first trod the boards in 1989 at Schaubühne Berlin. From 1990 until 1994, he was a member of the ensemble at the Berlin Schillertheater. This was followed by guest appearances at Theater Aachen, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. He was a member of the ensemble there from 1996 until 2001. Stefan has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele since 2001. In addition to his stage activities, he regularly works for film and television productions and can also be heard on the radio for Bayerische Rundfunk.
