With a subscription you can experience the entire range of the artistic program of the Münchner Kammerspiele - the subscription is an invitation to discover innovative theater art again and again, to spend inspiring evenings, to reflect on reality together.
All under 30 get into the MK for 10 euros
Come to our theater box office or buy your 10-euro ticket online. In the online store, select the U30 price instead of “normal price” and then follow the purchase process. Whether you are in school, training, studying, working or between jobs, if you are under 30, this is your ticket to the theater.
Ticket prices
Free choice of seats in the Therese-Giehse-Halle and the Werkraum
From April 1, 2024, you are free to choose your seat in Therese-Giehse-Halle and Werkraum. This means that we will return to the pre-pandemic system.
We offer the new option of early boarding. Early boarding is an offer for visitors with both visible and non-visible disabilities and means that it is possible to enter the respective halls earlier in order to find your seat in peace and quiet and get used to the space and lighting situation in a relaxed manner. In both venues, hearing aids (induction loops for hearing aids) are also available from the admission service. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, simply come to the foyer a little earlier and speak to the admissions staff.
Advance booking & publication of the monthly schedule
On the 1st of each month we start the advance sale for the following month. If the 1st is a Sunday or holiday, the regular advance sale is postponed to the following day. Please also note updates on the home page.

Where can I buy tickets?
- at the box office: in person, by telephone
- online via München Ticket or, in the case of streaming offers, directly via the Münchner Kammerspiele website

People with disabilities
Admission is free for wheelchair users. Wheelchair seats can only be booked by telephone or at the theater box office.
With a degree of disability of at least 50, you will receive a 50% discount. Admission is only possible upon presentation of a severely disabled pass.
Accompanying persons who are registered on the disabled pass also receive a 50% discount.

I am a pupil, student, U30, (...). Is there a discount for me?
Pupils, students, trainees, FSJ-performers and all others under 30 years get tickets for 10 €. These are also available online.
If you do not find yourself in any of the groups described here, please call us at the theater box office or write to us.
I am a München-Pass holder. Is there a discount for me?
As a München-Pass holder, you can buy a ticket for the reduced price of 8 euros, regardless of the seating category. Visit the theater box office or the evening box office during our opening hours or select the appropriate discount in the ticket store. Please have your München-Pass ready when purchasing tickets and at the ticket control. Without it, you will unfortunately have to purchase a normal price ticket. You can also reserve tickets via theaterkasse@kammerspiele.de and pick them up at the box office up to 7 days before the event.
What about group discounts?
At the theater box office, you will receive a 10% discount when purchasing 10 tickets for one performance or 16 tickets for multiple performances (except for special events). Group discounts are not available online, in this case please purchase your tickets in person or by calling our theater box office.
How can I book a school class for a visit?
Teachers can call or email the box office on +49 (0)89 / 233 966 00 or theaterkasse@kammerspiele.de to make a reservation.
All pupils will receive an encore ticket which they can exchange for a ticket for another performance.
Do I have to print out my ticket or is it enough on my cell phone?
We also scan the QR code from your cell phone at admission. You can present both the digital ticket on your mobile device or the printed version.
Unfortunately, the tickets cannot be saved in a Passbook at the moment.
Are the cards, tickets also valid in the network of MVV?
Your season ticket or your admission ticket, if MVV use is permitted on the front, entitles you to round-trip travel on all MVV means of transportation in the entire MVV network from 3 p.m. on the day of the performance until 6 a.m. the following day. Valid from three hours before the performance if the performance starts before 6 pm.
How can I redeem my voucher?
Of course, you have the option of redeeming the vouchers for your desired performances at the Münchner Kammerspiele (Schauspielhaus, Therese-Giehse-Halle and Werkraum) online.
All you need is the voucher number printed on the voucher. For the payment method, simply select payment by voucher. Then enter your voucher number in the Voucher number field and click on “Redeem now”. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the purchase price. If you want to redeem several vouchers, you can enter and offset them several times in succession.
You can also redeem the voucher at the theater box office or by telephone.
I would like to give a theater visit as a gift, how does it work?
You can buy the tickets by phone or directly at the box office. If you provide us with the postal address of the presentee, we will handle the shipping.
You can not decide on a performance date? Then buy a voucher and let the presentee decide when they want to visit us.
Rebookings and ticket returns. What is possible with you?
We can easily exchange your tickets to another day or transfer them to a third party. A return is not possible.
Why can't I buy tickets for multiple performances at the box office?
Tickets can only be purchased at the box office for the respective evening. The box office opens one hour before the performance at the respective venue.
I wanted to buy a ticket online and now the day, the item and the time are wrong. What can I do?
No problem, we will exchange the ticket immediately. Just give us a call or drop by the box office.
Cash, credit card, invoice, Paypal, Klarna etc. How can I pay?
You can pay with VISA and Mastercard as well as via Paypal. It is no longer necessary to have a credit card to buy tickets with us. At the box office you can pay with EC card or cash.
