060223 - A musical evening of remembrance

The earthquakes in Kurdistan, Syria and Turkey on February 6, 2023 are among the worst natural disasters of the last hundred years. More than 57,000 people fell victim to the quakes and over 120,000 were injured. Even today, hundreds of thousands of people are still living in emergency shelters. Food, medical care and clean water are in short supply in many regions. A carefree everyday life seems a long way off. Children and young people in particular are affected by the consequences and traumatized by the catastrophic experiences.

For the third edition of “060223”, almost a year after the earthquake disaster, we cordially invite you once again to an evening of remembrance for the victims, those affected and the bereaved. The commemoration will be accompanied by musical and lyrical contributions from Munich artists.

The event will be moderated by Şahika Tetik and Hülya Weller, both hosts of @caymalehrlich_podcast and part of the curatorial team of the event series.

We hope that donations can once again be collected for committed local organizations.
