Oksana Lemishka

Oksana Lemishka is passionate about transforming knowledge into action. As Cambridge educated researcher in media and culture, she led the implementation of the Social Cohesion and Reconciliation Index (SCORE) in Ukraine, which measures over 200 indicators, from civic behaviours to life skills. SCORE can model societal ecologies to answer why destructive trends take place and how culture and arts can respond accordingly.

As a freelance researcher she researches on the mediascape of Ukraine together with Arena Programme (LSE, UK; John Hopkins University, US) and searches for cutting edge productions that would speak to audiences needs.

Lemishka has been advising on the country strategies for USAID and UN programmes in Ukraine, The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, The Ministry of Reintegration of The Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and other stakeholders.

She has also organized numerous cultural events in her home city Ternopil, for she believes that implementing global solutions locally is the best way to sustainable and cohesive societies.
