Lukas Bärfuss

Lukas Bärfuss, born in Thun in 1971, is a playwright, novelist and controversial publicist. His plays are performed worldwide and his novels have been translated into twenty languages. Lukas Bärfuss is a member of the German Academy for Language and Poetry and lives in Zurich. He has been awarded the Berlin Literature Prize, the Swiss Book Prize and the Georg Büchner Prize, among others, for his works.
