Emilia Heinrich
Emilia Heinrich studied psychology and dramaturgy in Leipzig, Hamburg, and Paris. From 2016 to 2025, she was the resident dramaturg at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. There she worked with Franziska Autzen, Emre Akal, Kornél Mundruczó, Ewelina Marciniak, Yael Ronen, Michael Thalheimer, and others. She has collaborated extensively with director Jette Steckel, including on three stage adaptations of Nino Haratischwili’s novels Das achte Leben (für Brilka) (The Eighth Life (for Brilka)), Die Katze und der General (The Cat and the General), and Das mangelnde Licht (The Lack of Light). Emilia Heinrich is also co-curator of the international political festival “Um alles in der Welt – Lessingtage” and the venue “Nachtasyl,” where she is currently co-responsible for the young talent series “Freiflug.”
After “Die Vaterlosen” (The Fatherless) and “Mephisto,” “Meister und Margarita” (The Master and Margarita), directed by Jette Steckel, is her third work as guest dramaturge at the Munich Kammerspiele.
