İÇ İÇE: Festival of new Anatolian music

İÇ İÇE means “intertwined” or “interwoven” in Turkish.

The music festival for new Anatolian music makes the Anatolian music and cultural scene in Germany visible and tangible over three days. İÇ İÇE gives the widely ramified (Anatolian) communities in Germany - and especially within Munich - a space to develop and come together.

The festival stands for hybrid identities, for the acceptance of multiple affiliations and for life in a post-migrant society. We map all these aspects in our diverse program in three venues.

Together with Import Export, Münchner Kammerspiele and AusArten Festival, İÇ İÇE presents exhilarating music nights, workshop and discourse programs, walk-in performances, DJ sets and much more!

In the entrance door of Habibi Kiosk hangs a banner with the inscription: "İÇ İÇE: Festival of New Anatolian Music".
