Electro dance workshop for everyone with Tianée Achille (electro dancer from Paris) and RAP workshop with the Munich artists Kokonelle and Ropa together with the „MOVEmeant“ HipHop collective and „WordUp - Rap and Poetry against Racism and Discrimination“ from Munich. Afterwards, the two workshop groups will come together and combine dance and voice performance in a public Connect Jam at the Habibi Kiosk.

We will also attend the dance piece “C la vie” by Serge Aimé Coulibaly (Faso Danse Théâtre) together. The piece combines dance with singing and percussion. Here too, the focus is on encounters with music, with others, with reality, with time… with the question “How can we be together?”.

Participation in Campus#16 is free of charge and is aimed at all, whether beginners or advanced. Workshops and food are free, the theater ticket for “C la vie” costs 5€.

Dance workshop with Tianée Achille
Electric dance is based on a mixture of different styles such as: Voguing, Waacking, Locking & House. The dance style of big movements and fast arms originated in the Parisian nightclub scene of the 2000s and is danced to the rhythm of electro house music. Tianée Achille is an experienced Parisian electro dancer and former „MOVEmeant“ dance judge. She is representative of the “Electrostreet” and “Kali Kila” crew, the “Collectifminuit12” and “the house of carat”. She performs in battles, video clips, dance pieces and rave parties and regularly teaches at a dance school in Paris.

Rap workshop with Kokonelle and ROPA
Hip hop is more than just a style of music. Hip Hop is a socio-critical tool and a worldwide networking system. Kokonelle and Ropa, two (Hip Hop) artists who are active in Munich, share their knowledge about Hip Hop history and will ask questions like: “What does Hip Hop have to do with me?”, “What role does it play in relation to discrimination?” ect. Participants are given an introduction to songwriting methods and create their own power song.
