Şafak Şengül

Şafak Şengül, born in Mainz in 1994, studied at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre from 2019 to 2023. There she was a scholarship holder of the ad infinitum foundation for two consecutive years. During her studies she was already engaged at the Staatstheater Hannover as a permanent ensemble member (seasons 2021/22 & 2022/23).

Furthermore, she was awarded for her solo performance “R-Faktor. Das Unfassbare” (directed by Ayşe Güvendiren) by Theater Heute 2022 as Young Actress of the Year. 

Guest performances followed at the Thalia Theater Hamburg, Nationaltheater Mannheim and Staatsschauspiel Dresden, among others. 

Şafak Şengül has appeared in several film and television productions.
