Juliette Collas

Juliette Collas, born in France, studied in Paris at the Université VII and at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden. From 2010 to 2013 she worked as an assistant in Germany and France, including at the Schaubühne Berlin, the Wiener Festwochen, the Théâtre national de Bretagne and the Théâtre national de Bordeaux en Aquitaine. Since 2013 she has worked as a freelance stage and costume designer together with Doris Uhlich, Gregor Tureček, Carola Unser, Teresa Reiber, Harriet and Peter Meining, among others, at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven, the Tischlerei at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Meininger Staatstheater, the Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf, the Theater Osnabrück and the Theater Münster. In 2012, Juliette Collas received the “DAAD Prize”. Together with Angela Ribera, she founded the collective “Proper Space” in 2017. At Münchner Kammerspiele, she designs the stage and costume for the ensemble dance piece “In Ordnung” in the 2023/24 season.
