Jan Godde

Jan Godde, born in the Ruhr area, studied electro-acoustic composition, sound engineering and sound design in Essen, Graz and Zurich.

He works as a theater musician and sound designer for various theater productions, including at the Schauspielhaus Graz with Claudia Bossard (“Erinnya”, Mülheimer Theatertage 2019), at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Mousonturm Frankfurt and with the group RUHRORTER at the Rurtriennale 2022 as well as a composer, sound designer and sound mixer for films, including including “Der Molchkongress” by Matthias Sahli and Immanuel Esser (Silver Leopard, Locarno Film Festival 2022) and “Exit Through The Cuckoo’s Nest” by Nikola Ilić.

In the 23/24 season, he is working on the composition and sound design for “Die Möglichkeit des Bösen” at the Münchner Kammerspiele, directed by Marie Schleef.
