Gülhan Kadim

Gülhan Kadim was born in 1976, Germany. She studied Geological Engineering. In 1993, she started acting as an amateur player in the theater club of the University. In 1999, she founded a professional theater group with her friends from the this club and in 2009, they opened Kumbaracı50, one of Beyoğlu’s few active stages. In 2018, she  curated on behalf of Turkey, a guest country at the Heidelberger Stückemarkt festival. Since 2019, she has been curating the “Szene Istanbul” project that Theater an der Ruhr organizes every season.

Gülhan Kadim is the General Coordinator of Kumbaracı50. She is also an actress and director.
