‘SCORES THAT SHAPED OUR FRIENDSHIP’ is about togetherness. It is about the love for detail and fun. Paweł Duduś and ensemble member Lucy Wilke explore the whole spectrum of their relationship, their friendship: their poetic tendencies, their urge towards sensuality and the challenges that mount up for us in playful interactions.

This cocktail of personalities also challenges the stereotypes and normative perceptions in society and culture that eagerly label, marginalise and discriminate against everything that is different. We respect the ways in which we are different and celebrate the non-normative. This work provides insight into an alternative way of living and being. It displays qualities and values that we wished were more common in our everyday lives.

Together we focus on embodiment – the atypical embodiment. We embody our memories, dreams and wishes. We embody beauty. We are beautiful.

Funded by the City of Munich's Department of Arts and Culture. This project is made possible by the Bavarian Association for Contemporary Dance through funding from the Bavarian State Ministry for Education, Culture, Science and Arts; the District of Upper Bavaria and the Stadtsparkasse München Cultural Foundation.
