Komi Togbonou

Komi Togbonou was born in 1972 and is a stage, film and television actor as well a musician. He has had guest appearances at Theater Bremen, Theater Frankfurt, Volksbühne Berlin, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Graz as well as at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam and at Theater & Orchester Heidelberg. Komi has worked with various directors including Herbert Fritsch, Christoph Schlingensief and Jan-Christoph Gockel. In addition to this, he manages the intercultural TheaterSpielWerkstatt at Theater Oberhausen. As a musician he has worked for the likes of Nina Hagen, Die Fantastischen Vier and Thomas D. He himself is a singer in the soul boogaloo band El Cartel and in the rock group Silberrücken. Komi is a member of the artist’s community Marsnetz and has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Münchner Kammerspiele since 2020.
