Open Stage meets MK: Ensemble
All Abled Arts, MK:Musik, MK: Mitmachen, and the Werkraum Team invite you to a show that is as climate-neutral as possible.
True to the motto: ‘Get involved, it’s your Earth’ (Erika Mann, actress, writer), various newcomers from Munich will share the stage with actors from the MK ensemble on this evening and do justice to the climate-neutral stage of the Werkraum.
Come along and enjoy a cross-genre evening of singing, text and performance, and let yourself be enchanted (literally) by the selected contributions from local artists.
Actor Orlando Lenzen will be there with a magic show about dramaturge Carl Hegemann, and Munich singer-songwriter Franzi Koko will be performing with her guitar.
Osagie Airen, alias Ellisprincewhite, will also be gracing us with his presence after his performance at Habibi Kiosk at ‘Awesome Tapes Of Africa’: the Afrobeat musician came to Munich from Nigeria and has become an integral part of the local scene. On 28 February, he will perform an ode to Mother Earth.
Actors Dennis Fell-Hernandez and Michael Pietsch from the Munich Kammerspiele theatre company have prepared a surprise with Pocahontas, and accomplished poetry slammer Svea Paul will be presenting her latest work.
Actors from the Freie Bühne München will poetically examine climate change, and singer and intercultural trainer Nikki Mayer, aka moonchild, will take us into the forest. The duo Daniela La Luz and Natyra will present their performance ‘Melting Giants’ – a live audiovisual concert combining electronic and classical improvisation with images of melting glaciers.
Together, we will celebrate a community that could hardly be more diverse and immerse ourselves in the many aspects of the connection between nature and culture – an evening marked by uncertainty, but above all full of inspiration, gratitude and creative energy! Be there.
