Regina is a single mother and cares for her adult son David, who has multiple disabilities. Her everyday life has been characterized by strictly timed routines for years. When Regina’s partner Michael receives a job offer in Peru, Regina doesn’t know how to deal with it. Her friends say: think about yourself too. And Regina can barely find the strength to open the fridge door. The winner of the Munich New Playwriting Award paints a sensitive portrait of a woman searching for her own place in life. Director Marion Hélène Weber completes her directing studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg with the world premiere of “Drinnen”.

Press reviews

“At the center as Regina is the wonderful Annette Paulmann, who alone would be reason enough to watch ‘Drinnen’ in the Werkraum. (…) It is a delicate, sensitive event.”

Süddeutsche Zeitung • 26.11.24

“… an absolutely successful, even gripping evening of theater (…), a perfectly timed balancing act between laughter and tears.”

Münchner Merkur • 25.11.24
