Sebastian Brandes

Sebastian Brandes was born in 1983 in Magdeburg. Between 2006 and 2009 he studied drama at the Konrad Wolf Film University in Potsdam. On completion of his studies, he was accepted into the ensemble at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater. He made guest appearances at Theater Heidelberg, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse and the Maxim Gorki theatre in Berlin and also played parts in various short films and television movies. From 2014 to 2020, Sebastian was a permanent member of the ensemble at Staatstheater Mainz. As well as many other roles, he can be seen in Schinderhannes (directed by Jan-Christoph Gockel) and in LJOD – Das Eis – Die Trilogie (LJOD – The Ice – The Trilogy – directed by Jan-Christoph Gockel). Sebastian has been a member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele since 2020.
