Michael Pietsch

Michael Pietsch is an actor, puppet maker and puppeteer and studied at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. Together with the director Jan-Christoph Gockel, he worked on the interface of stage play and puppetry, and in 2017 the two of them founded the company peaches & rooster. Michael has been making marionettes since he was five years old and has made over 300 puppets for theatre and film productions. He has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele since 2020.
