Anna Gesa-Raija Lappe

Anna Gesa-Raija Lappe was born in 1991 in Hamburg and completed her drama studies at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2017. In her final year she appeared at Schauspiel Stuttgart working alongside Robert Borgmann. In previous productions she has worked with directors such as Christiane Pohle, Charlotte Sprenger, Anne Habermehl and Anna-Elisabeth Frick, and in 2012 she founded the kosmos A collective with Annika Schäfer. For her roles in Die Unerhörte (The Unheard – directed by Anna-Elisabeth Frick) and Nora, Hedda und ihre Schwestern (Nora, Hedda and Their Sisters – directed by Anna Bergmann), Anna was nominated for the Young Actor of the Year Award in 2016 and 2019 by Theater heute. In addition to this, since 2017 she has appeared in various films and numerous audio dramas. Anna was a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe from 2018 until 2020 when she became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele.
